1- Take off the door panel. Remove completely from vehicle. Let me know if you aren't familiar with how this is done.
2- Cut side of box down to the size of the pocket. The more accurately you cut the cardboard, the easier it will be to locate the pocket on the door. This will make a good template to drill the panel. Place the piece of cardboard on the door panel and poke through the cardboard to locate the holes in the door panel, leaving something through the holes as you poke the next, to keep the cardboard from moving.
3- Tape or hold the template where you would like to locate the pocket on the door panel. You need to be sure to have it far enough forward that it does not interfere with the seatbelt when the door is closed. I located the back edge of the pocket right at the end of the lined pattern that is on the door. That seemed to be the best place to locate it for looks and functionality. They were designed to match up with the ends of that pattern. The insulation on the back of the panel can get caught up in the drill bit so be careful of that. It may be best to remove part of the insulation if it interferes with the bit.
4. Place the screws through the holes from inside the door pocket. Use the washer and nut on the back side. You may need to use a pair of needle nose pliers to get the screw through the hole if you have big hands. This was the hardest part for me. Once you get all of the nuts started, use an allen wrench and a nut driver or box wrench to cinch it all down.
5- Reinstall the door panel.
